Living Diversity and Appreciation at the RKI - Diversity Day 2024

By signing the Diversity Charter in 2017, the Robert Koch Institute committed itself to a culture that sees diversity as an opportunity. With this in mind, the RKI is committed to promoting diversity both in the working environment and in public health work. On the occasion of the German Diversity Day on 28 May, the RKI regularly positions itself accordingly on social media. Under this year's motto "Vote for diversity - 365 days a year", the RKI emphasises how every voice contributes to strengthening democracy. The RKI is also committed to diversity in its mission statement, which emphasises that the institute is "open to all people, irrespective of their origin, religious belief and gender identity".
