Health of people with impairments and disabilities in Germany - Journal of Health Monitoring 1/2022

Issue 1/2022 focuses on the health of people with impairments and disabilities.

The first Focus article describes the presence of limitations of activities of daily living among people aged 55 and older in Germany. In addition, a characterisation of impaired and unimpaired participants by disease-relevant and sociodemographic characteristics is presented.

The second Focus article provides an overview of the health of people with impairments and disabilities on the basis of selected indicators of health status, health behaviour as well as health care.

The third Focus article describes the occurrence of toothache, the frequency of tooth brushing and the utilisation of dental check-ups in 3- to 17-year-old children and adolescents with and without disabilities.
