Issue 4/2018 of the Journal of Health Monitoring focuses on the utilization of medical services by children and adolescents in Germany. The articles cover topics such as the utilization of physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy, early detection examinations, orthodontic treatment and dental check-ups by children and adolescents. In addition, social differences in the utilization of medical services are analysed.
The articles are based on data from the second follow-up to the German Health Interview and Examination Survey for Children and Adolescents (KiGGS Wave 2).
