Dietary Behaviour in Germany

How often do 12- to 17-year-olds in Germany eat fast food? Are energy drinks still popular in this age group? How many children consume organic food daily? And how often do employ-ees eat at canteens that offer healthy food choices? Issue 1/2020 of the Journal of Health Monitoring provides answers to these and further questions on dietary behaviour in Germany.

The articles are based on data from the second Eating study as a KiGGS module (EsKiMo II, 2015–2017) and the German Health Update (GEDA 2014/2015-EHIS).
