The project aims to provide population-related data on the impact of regional deprivation independent of individual social factors on adults in Germany. The evaluation is based on pooled data of two national health surveys of the Robert Koch Institute (GEDA09; GEDA10) conducted on the telephone within a short period of time using the newly developed "German Index of Multiple Deprivation" (GIMD).
