Possible factors influencing the outpatient utilisation of the health system by the population were analysed in a study.

The focus of the study lay on the complex interaction of different factors possibly influencing higher utilisation of outpatient services. The aim of the study was to derive recommendations on management approaches and to show the extent to which the use of outpatient services can be influenced.
