Call for Applications for the 2025 EPIET and EUPHEM Cohort

The Fellowship Programme of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) offers specialized training with a focus on Field Epidemiology (EPIET) and Public Health Microbiology (EUPHEM). Over the course of the two-year programme, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their expertise in key areas. The core competency areas include, among others, infectious disease surveillance, outbreak management, public health esearch, laboratory investigations, communication, teaching, statistical analysis, laboratory quality management, and handling biological hazards.

The application deadline is October 22, 2024, and the programme starts on September 15, 2025. The Postgraduate Training for Applied Epidemiology (PAE) at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) works closely with these programmes as an EPIET-associated programme.
